…By saving you cash, guarding your time, and guiding money moves that are anything but random.

Blogs and Reddit threads can only get you so far! This free-form call is for you to get custom answers to just about any financial question that’s tripping you up – whether you’re confused about bookkeeping, wondering if you really need an LLC, or trying to figure out how much you can afford to pay yourself.
"Abby is incredible to work with. Not only is her communication absolutely top notch, but she goes above and beyond to ensure I am fully taken care of."
"Abby took on my messy books and cleaned them up. She worked with me and my lack of knowledge on what I needed and walked me through the process."
"Abby sends me a personalized video each month that goes over every aspect of my monthly report. I can't recommend her enough!!"
I’ll review your existing bookkeeping systems and create any new ones you might need. I’ll also fix any mistakes or imbalances and design a custom Chart of Accounts to keep track of all your streams of income and expenses.
If you’re feeling good about working together, you’ll sign a contract, pay your first invoice, and follow a quick onboarding checklist – it’ll take an hour, max. We can schedule an optional kickoff call, too.
Before we start, we’ll talk through your situation and find the best option for you – whether that’s diving right into bookkeeping or starting with a diagnostic review. This chat is also a chance to make sure we’re a fit before we officially start!
I’m not much of a poet, but I like to think my bookkeeping process is as streamlined as a Southern river and smooth as the stones you’d find on the bank. Here’s what that looks like:
If your books are behind, I’ll bring them up to date. Otherwise, I’ll get to work bookkeeping for one month. We’ll finish this phase with a review call to get you comfy with all your reports and talk through your numbers.
I’ll check in monthly with money insights and recommendations (think tips for organizing your accounts, patching sneaky money leaks, and everything in between), so you can make great decisions for consistency and growth.
+ You procrastinate money-related tasks because they feel overwhelming or downright boring (or BOTH!).
+ You have no idea why you paid so much in taxes last year, and you’re not interested in repeating that experience.
+ You’ve been making buying and saving decisions based on guesswork.
+ The amount of money you bring home every month feels beyond your control.
Getting ahead of the game and trying to avoid those issues in the first place? AMAZING.
I’ve created (& collected) my favorite resources just for you.
I work with service-based small businesses, usually in creative fields, though that’s not technically required! If you’re passionate about your work, if you’re building a sustainable business around your talents and your lifestyle, if you’re done with financial stress – you’re in the right place!
Nope! Accounting and bookkeeping are very different. As a bookkeeper, it's my job to advise you and organize your finances all year. A CPA’s job is to file your taxes during tax season, and they need clean books to do that. In fact, if you go to a CPA with a year’s worth of messy books, you’re putting them in a time crunch. They might charge you a LOT to clean up your books – or they might not offer that option at all!
I do require my monthly bookkeeping clients to use QuickBooks Online as their bookkeeping software, and if you don’t have it yet, I’ll help you get set up! You won’t regret the switch – QB is the best in the business for double-entry bookkeeping (meaning it has clever calculations built in to double-check for mistakes) and it’ll grow with your business so you won’t need to switch later.
When we start working together, you’ll add me to your QuickBooks file as an accountant and give me view-only access to your financial accounts – don’t worry, it’s standard practice and I’m super discreet! Occasionally, I’ll pop in to ask a question like “what did you just spend $300 on from Amazon?” but apart from that, you just get to chill!
Every month I deliver a Profit and Loss, Statement of Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet. And in your monthly Loom, I’ll interpret what these reports are actually saying about your business, and what I recommend you do!
For example, I’ll tell you what’s changed since last month, which of your offerings make the most money, how much to move to your emergency fund, how to pay yourself a salary, and other important stuff like that!
